Departing Marrakech, cross Morocco's High Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2,260 meters and travel to Ait Ben Haddou, where you will experience the village culture and beautiful landscape during an hour-long walk. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a wonderful example of southern Moroccan architecture. The Ksar is mainly a collection of apartment buildings. The houses are densely arranged within defensive walls, fortified by corner towers and pierced by gates with deadbolts. Some are modest, others resemble small town castles with tall corner towers and upper sections decorated with mud brick patterns. After lunch, the route crosses Ouarzazate to reach the “valley of 1000 kasbahs”, the Dades Valley, where we will spend a magical evening.

Then visit the Dades Gorge, cross the Bumarn Dades to Merzouga and visit the Todra Gorge (elevation 300 meters). Lunch on the road, visit the old irrigation system, then continue to Merzouga “Desert Dreams”. Overnight at the hotel.

In the morning, wake up, have breakfast, visit an old Berber village, listen to gnaoua music and then visit the Sacred Lake. Lunch is Berber pizza.

You will be woken up before sunrise so you can climb the dunes and take some great photos. You will then return to your hotel, shower, have breakfast and drive to Fez. On the way you will visit Erfoud, Errachidia, Ziz Valley and Midelt (on arrival in Midelt the driver will stop for lunch if you get hungry).
